About Us
Beverley Town Bowling Club was founded in 1909.
We are situated within easy walking distance of the beautiful market town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire with good rail and road links. We also have ample parking adjacent to the greens.
We have two magnificent greens. No 1 green being 40 x 40 with seven rinks. No2 green is 35 x 35 with up to five rinks. Thanks to the dedication of some of our members, who have worked tirelessly throughout the winter months in rain, hail, gales and even snow, we have beautifully manicured greens to play on, and to welcome our visitors.
We also boast a modern club house, again brought about by the sheer hard work of our members. These members totally refurbished the interior unaided, each using their own particular skills as a team. It is a building we are all proud to call our Club House.

The Ladies Social Committee make excellent use of the kitchen facilities (when they are not bowling). Our Whistle Stop competition, which attracts in excess of two hundred and fifty people fails to faze them. We must point out, on this occasion the entire membership contribute to make this an extremely enjoyable day. The presentation of the food they prepare is a match for any eating house!
We have seventy playing members from all walks in life. We welcome new members. Bowling is a sport in which you can participate with or without a partner. We can offer informal coaching so please do come to one of our open days and be sure of a warm welcome. There are no age limits (young or old!) We offer reduced subscriptions for the over sixties.
Although the outdoor bowling season runs from April to September the members maintain contact with many organised social events during the winter months, including indoor bowling.
