It is snowing and icy cold.
The new tables have arrived.  It is all hands to
the deck to transform this into……………………

This!  Wow, what a difference.  All the painting
and varnishing is now completed.

Thanks to these hardworking members
(and a couple who were unavailable to help today)
we have a fantastic “new” club house.  Cheers lads!

By the way, who’s in charge?

Who really is the boss?  What do you mean …….
Him up there and Her indoors!

This is looking good

Eric Boon sanding down one of the many benches in
readiness for next season.  Outside temperature
2c……….inside temperature -1c ……..That is cold!

A big grin from Bernard even though he had
drawn the short straw and had to empty the bin!

Club Captain (2009) Trevor Clark.  Looks like
you can paint 33% extra wood today Trevor!
(don’t forget you still have painting to do
at home)

A quick dash back for Neville after having
done his Community Lift shift - hence he has
not had time to coat himself in paint like
the other two likely lads!

How cold is it in there………….just look at the
steam coming off the tea.  Are you in a
Trade Union?  I think you should demand
better working conditions and a tea lady!!

It does look lovely and bright with all the hard
work that has been done over the winter.

Remember it will be inspected Trevor!

They even have to wash their own cups after
a hard mornings work.  You can tell Hilary
has trained Bernard very well.

Don’t like the look of this……………………….
How long was the drill bit Bernard?

Big smile from Dave……………………………………

A week of hard work and skill put in by
Trevor Clark, Dave Robson & Bernard Smith
to enhance an area of the grounds that looked
dire before this fence was erected………………
who’s going to paint the gate?
